Dr. Peter Shih - Orthodontist Serving Jacksonville, FL
Before Dr. Peter Shih studied and trained to become an orthodontist, he received his Bachelor of Science in biomechanical engineering from Washington University in 2002, and went on to earn his Master of Science from Missouri University of Science and Technology in computer engineering in 2006.
He earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from NOVA Southeastern University in 2015 and completed his orthodontic residency at Jacksonville University in 2017.
Dr. Shih naturally found his calling in orthodontics—his father was a dentist, and orthodontics deals a lot with mathematics.
In his free time, Dr. Shih enjoys rock climbing, spending time with his children, going to the beach, park, and pool, and just spending time outdoors; "I feel like once in a while, everybody should go out there in the wilderness just to recharge."
